Lorraine Talbot holds a law degree from the Université de Montréal, and has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1982.
Based in Terrebonne since 1983, she initially practiced in several areas before focusing her practice on personal and family law, as well as construction law.
As a family lawyer, she doesn’t just represent clients in separation and marital disputes before the courts. She has also handled cases involving adoption, youth protection, protection of incapacitated persons and estate litigation. She became an accredited family mediator in 2002.
Throughout his career, Mr. Talbot has played an active role in the Terrebonne community, notably by sitting on the boards of various community and charitable organizations. She was also a member of the CLDEM Board of Directors before it became part of the Les Moulins MRC.
Keen to share her expertise, she has been contributing to Éditions Yvon Blais since 2010, writing texts and commentaries for the legal community.
Drawing on her experience, she has been asked to lead conferences and training courses recognized by the Quebec Bar. She has also lectured at the Université du troisième âge, affiliated with the Université de Sherbrooke.
Since March 2022, Ms. Talbot has held the position of Senior Counsel with our firm.
